I miss my Mother
I used to write in my journal or diary every day from when my Mother gave me a little flowered diary at age 9 until I had my first baby at age 25. Now that I'm 51 and haven't written very regularly in a journal for years, I feel compelled to write my thoughts in a blog. I'm not really wanting to share myself with the world. I just feel the need to write my thoughts down to help with my self reflection. That sounds a little selfish, I know. I just NEED to write my thoughts. And my thoughts on this sweet Sabbath day are, I love my children, I adore my grandchildren, I love my husband, and I miss my Mother. There it is. I feel better now.

My Favorite pictures wedding Day Danika & John Pope

Our home in American Fork where the reception was held.

This is my favorite picture of the Bride and Groom. John and Danika
I love this picture of Danika hugging Dallin. The kids were so excited to see Danika & John
Last year we had the pleasure of seeing two of our kids marry in the temple. Here are a few of my favorite pictures from the first wedding on Saturday, November 18, 2007. Danika married a wonderful young man, John Pope, from Austin, Texas. He is studying to be an airline pilot. He served his mission in Mexico in the same area that Danika and Aubrey went to in December 2005 to help in an orphanage. Here they are coming out of the Mount Timapanogos Temple in American Fork, Utah
